We are so excited to share Bali with you. Here's everything you need to plan your trip.
Fly into Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) in Denpasar — Bali's main airport, well-connected from most European and Australian hubs.
The venue is roughly 45–60 minutes from the airport by car. We recommend booking flights as early as possible — September is peak season.
We've pre-filtered Airbnb listings in Canggu & Pererenan — right around the corner from the venue. From cosy villas to private pool retreats, there's something for every budget.
Browse Airbnb Listings ↗We recommend downloading Grab — the local ride-hailing app. It's reliable, affordable, and works throughout Bali. Private drivers are also easy to arrange through your accommodation.
The currency is Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). USD and EUR are generally not accepted. The easiest way to get cash is to withdraw IDR at any nearby ATM using your credit or debit card.
Semi-formal — think smart, elegant attire suited to a warm tropical evening.
Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for. Should you wish to give something, we gratefully welcome a contribution to our honeymoon fund — details available on request.
Late September is the tail end of Bali's dry season. Expect sunshine, gentle breezes, and temperatures around 28–32 °C. Evenings are warm and pleasant — perfect for an outdoor celebration.
Don't hesitate to reach out — we're happy to help with anything from travel advice to dietary requirements.
Most EU, US, UK, and Australian passport holders can enter Indonesia visa-free for up to 30 days (extendable). We always recommend checking the latest entry requirements via your country's embassy or the official Indonesian immigration website before travelling.
As early as possible! September is high season in Bali. We recommend booking at least 6 months in advance to secure the best fares and your preferred accommodation.
Ngurah Rai Airport is about 45–60 minutes from the venue. We recommend using the Grab app or booking a private driver through your accommodation. Official airport taxis are also available — always agree on a fixed price upfront or insist on the meter.

Bali is a predominantly Hindu island with rich cultural traditions. Dress modestly when visiting temples (a sarong is usually provided), use your right hand for giving and receiving, and be respectful of temple offerings on the ground. Balinese people are incredibly warm and welcoming — a little respect goes a very long way.
